Wishes & Watercolors is a private art gallery featuring the one-of-a-kind paintings and gifts of West Michigan artist and owner Karen Fethke.

Lake Michigan themes are exlusively featued throuhout her handpainted originals and prints as well as her unique line of greetings cards, note cards, and magnets.

The Flavia and Renaissance lines of cards and a selection of children's books are also available.

Born and raised in Muskegon, Karen is a graduate of Muskegon High School, Muskegon Community College, and Michigan State University, where she earned a bachelor of Arts degree. A retired teacher, Karen has taught over thrity years at the preschool, elementary, and aldult education levels and has studied art and attended classes and workshops for over forty years.

Karen is married to Gene Fethke, owner of Jerviss Fethke Insurance. She has three daughters, Pegy, Nancy and Alison and has three grandchildren.
